Yesterday 14 June 2015, JOSEPH CASSAR flew out from Sydney to return to his homeland, Malta. There he will live in retirement with other Members at the Samaritan Centre in St Venera.
Joe was incorporated in June 1959 and is from Siggiewi. He arrived in Sydney in 1964 ministering from the Centres at Toongabbie, Paddington, Rooty Hill and Carss Park.
Celebrations were held at Mater Dei parish, Blakehurst and Preca Centre, Carss Park to acknowledge Joe’s life-long commitment to his vocation and his willingness to give help and support whenever called upon.
To spread the seed of God’s Word, that it may bring forth good fruit.
