An image of St George Preca, originally painted by Paul Newton has been placed in the church of Queen of Peace, Altona Meadows.
The Preca Community has been present in the Parish of Laverton since 1993.
George is certainly in good company, surrounded by images of
Mary MacKillop as a young lady, and as a Sister of St Joseph.
The image was installed prior to St George Preca feast, 9 May.
To spread the seed of God’s Word, that it may bring forth good fruit.
