With the celebrations of St George Preca coming to a close throughout our Centres, and as we journey through the Church’s liturgical year, we are reminded of the mandate to make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and the message of Jesus Christ that he would be with us always, until the end of the age. George Preca understood this and feverishly wanted others to recognise this as well. This is what we acknowledge when we celebrate the Feast of St George Preca – ‘Divine Teacher, may the whole world follow your Gospel’.
